A bonus treat for you, Brassbound: Squad Surge
Hello again everyone,
I really value the feedback I get from my playtesters and other thought-contributors. One piece of feedback I got a while back on Brassbound: Adamantine Dawn was that it would be neat if I could find a way to tweak the activation system so it's not "I activate a unit, you activate a unit". That's something I've been working on with my development team ever since, and the end result was a neat little spin-off game called Squad Surge.
It take the essence of B.A.D. and simplifies everything down to a single page. It also allowed me a quick mechanism to try out some of the new ideas I had.
The game plays very quickly, faster even than B.A.D. does, and is easy to pick up.
I'd love to know what you think. Should any of the ideas in here make their way into the main game?
