Hello War Gamers, 

I'm very pleased to announce that I've decided on a default scale for my game - 1:144 (15mm).  I've decided on this scale for a few reasons:

1. You can feature large-ish battles on a relatively small playing area
2. If you're using Lego or other building blocks, this makes the models small enough that they're inexpensive while still allowing a reasonable level of detail. 
3. If you're not using Lego or other building blocks, it is an existing scale for which miniatures are available. 

You can certainly play at other scales if you so choose. For example, if you wish to play with Lego Minifigures, consider multiplying all ranges mentioned in the rules by 2.5. You will also want to scale up your models, playing area, and terrain accordingly. 

If you choose to play at the default scale, you will be happy to see that I've updated the basic units for both the Coalition and the Pact to be closer to the right size. I've taken the opportunity to make several small improvements to the designs overall that I hope you'll enjoy. 

Even better, all of the parts used are currently available on Lego's Pick a Brick service! Here are the approximate prices for the units:

Quite reasonable indeed - you can pick up a basic starter set for around $9.18 in parts. 

As for what's coming next - we're still playtesting version 0.41, focusing on Close Quarters Combat. You can expect another update in the next week or two with tweaks based on testing.
